Mariah Carey’s spokesperson husband took to his radio show this week on New York’s 92.3 FM to once again address his wife’s pregnancy rumors. The recent baby bump rumors took off when photo’s of a very “plump” Mariah surfaced this week after a concert appearance in Brazil. This is what Nick had to say of the;
“I’ve have said it before and I’ll say it time and time again: when my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants to talk about, you will hear it directly from her.”
“We all know it’s extremely personal, and it’s for a woman to deal with things with her body, especially when dealing with the idea of childbirth and all that stuff.”
“That (pregnancy) is something you want to keep near and dear and as close to you as you possibly can, until you’re 100% sure. In any situation, there is a certain time limit you’re supposed to wait before you can actually officially say that you are and all that stuff. You don’t want to mislead anybody.”
So he’s basically not denying that she could be pregnant… He’s just saying she’s not ready to address the rumors either way yet. (Probably to be 100% certain she doesn’t miscarry since it was rumored that she was having a hard time getting pregnant in the first place.) Yup, she’s preggers.
Looks like the good ol’ days of the Mariah Carey/Jennifer Lopez diva feuds are long gone… Check out what Jennifer Lopez wrote about Mariah on her Twitter this week. She’s actually giving Mariah props rather than slinging catty insults!! Could J Lo’s recent change of heart have anything to do with the fact that she was recently signed to the same label as Mariah?
Um… If Mariah Carey really isn’t pregnant like her camp claims, can someone please clue her in because she apparently been eating for 2. Seriously though, this photo taken of Mimi performing in Brazil lastnight looks like she is sporting a serious baby bump. And she’s wearing an oversized logo t-shirt on stage that might as well be a moo-moo… She’s gotta be preggers! I actually hope that she is! I love her relationship with her husband Nick Cannon and wish them all the happiness in the world.
Now that J Lo is out of the picture, Mariah Carey is voicing interest (through her husband) in filling one of the empty chairs on American Idol’s judging panel! Billboard magazine recently caught up with Nick Cannon (Mariah’s hubby) and asked the host of America’s Got Talent if Mariah was ever apporached for the gig… This is what he had to say;
“You know what? She talks about it. She says, “I would love to do that.” She is one of the greatest singers of our time; she would be great. I don’t know if she has enough time, though, but if they could work with her schedule, I know she would love to do “Idol.”
Could you imagine sassy Mariah making faces as some poor kid butchers one of her songs?!! Now THAT show I would actually tune in to see!

Congrats to Britney Spears who has officially become the highest selling artist of the 2000′s after selling over 100 Million records to date! Accrding to the RIAA, Britney is now in the ranks with Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston & Mariah Carey. I’m not the biggest fan of Britney’s but I think it’s safe to say that she has now secured the title “living legend” with a feat like this. Let’s just hope that she can keep this momentum going unlike the other ladies I mentioned who have suffered in the “sales” department with their last efforts.
I love me some Mariah Carey… Anyone who know me, knows I am a devoted fan. (You know where I’m heading with this though.)
BUT…. She needs to fire her marketing people over this new fragrance and ad campaign. I mean, let’s be honest… She probably came up with the ‘Lollipop Bling‘ concept herself but someone should have just said NO!!! The name is aweful and too young for her… The artwork is just weird and that gum dispenser packaging… Don’t even get me started on that. Come on Mariah, your fan base aren’t 5 year old little girls… Why in the world would you think that this was a good idea????

We’re always hearing these “Mariah Carey is pregnant” rumor swirling around the Internet but this time I think it’s actually true! RadarOnline.com is exclusively confirming that Mariah Carey is in fact pregnant! The site claims that a close source to the couple confirmed the pregnancy which would explain Mariah’s recently withdrawing from her role in the new Tyler Perry film, ‘For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf’. I’m still gonna stay a tiny bit skeptical until I hear it from Mariah’s mouth but if this is in fact true… CONGRATS MARIAH& NICK CANNON!!! They are such an adorable couple and truly deserve to be happy.
