Michael Kruse must really be petitioning for the world’s biggest douche bag award that’s currently owned by Kanye West. Michael was arrested after calling 911 not once but 2 times to demand a police escort to the Lil Wayne concert in Miami. When denied the douche got the bright idea to settle by asking for a helicopter. This is no joke… This guy is that dumb! When the police caught Michael and “escorted” him to jail they said that he seemed to be under the influence of some sort of substance. No shit, sherlocks!!
Not a huge difference between this David Gutta remix of “Revolver” and the version I posted earlier this week. This one includes Lil’ Wayne’s vocals where as the first version I posted didn’t. I actually prefer his part kept in tact. I really enjoy his contribution to this song…

Ok… Shakira has totally redeemed herself in my book for the horribly embarrassing “dancing” she did in her “She Wolf” video with the bad-ass booty shakin’ she’s doing in her new video, “Give it Up To Me“. Check out the scene where she drops it real low at the 1:20 mark… I SAID GOD DAMN, SHAKI-KI!!! Who knew you had those moves in you?

Jay Sean has just accomplished a rare feat on the Billboard charts with his hit single “Down“… After being bumped from his #1 position on the chart by Britney Spears’ latest single “3“, Jay Sean returned the favor to Brit-Brit by reclaiming the top spot and pushing her down to #5. Uh Oh, Britney… You’re gonna have to claw your way through a lot of people if you wanna if you wanna seek your revenge on Jay Sean.
I’m glad for Jay Sean… I’m definitely “down” with his feel good hit single. Especially the Jason Nevins remix I’ve been playing!

When I first heard “Down” by Jay Sean on the radio, I immediately dismissed it as a Chris Brown wannabe track. However, the more that I’ve had time to really listen to the song, the more I’ve really up to it. I actually played this Jason Nevins remix earlier in my set on Friday night and it brought a lot of people out on the floor… It’s a nice little uplifting house number. Check it out…

Here is the second version of Madonna’s latest single “Celebration“. This is the fan version that features Madonna fanatics that they found in Milan lip synching and dancing to the song. This video is a hot mess… I hate it!!! From the moment it started I was cringing and the I didn’t stop till the very end. OK, Madonna… We know you love your gays and they make up a good majority of your fan-base, but did you really have to only choose the most flamboyant mo’s & drag queens to represent your fans? I mean, come one… Some of these guys couldn’t even make it into a drag competition at your local dive gay bar let alone a Madonna video.
There are some highlights towards the end of the clip, however. Her daughter Lourdes makes a very cute cameo in a wedding dress as Madonna from her “Like a Virgin” era. One of her dancers is featured paying tribute to Michael Jackson which is kind of awesome, and another female dancer is seen paying homage to M from her “Open Your Heart” video… Oh, and Paul Oakenfold showing off his little dance moves is pretty fun too.

Here’s the next single off of Madonna’s soon to be released greatest hits package. The song called “Revolver” is probably the most “current” sounding single that she’s released since “4 Minutes“… Especially lyrically! The song was produced by Paul Oakenfold and features a cameo from Lil’ Wayne which at first I thought would be a train-wreck but actually works pretty well. “Revolver” reminds me a lot of a Britney Spears track (“Radar“) but Madonna manages to pull the song off pretty well and pass it off as something totally original like she always does.

Here’s a little 30 second clip that I do like… And not just because it’s Madonna. It actually sounds good. When I first heard that the 2nd single off of Madonna’s greatest hits package was a track called “Revolver” featuring Lil Wayne… I cringed with horror. Then when the demo version with some female singing Madonna’s part leaked online… I threw my Immaculate Collection CD at my computer. Now that a 30 second clip of Madonna’s album version has hit the Internet, I have to admit that I REALLY like it! I think this would have been a better first single than “Celebration” actually. It sounds… Dare I say it??…. It sounds like Britney… In a good way!! Hey, at least it sounds catchy and more importantly “current”. Listen to the clip here;
Check out these newly released teasers for Madonna’s greatest hits album titled Celebration to be released in September. The first new single from the package called “Celebrate” should be leaked released any day now. Speaking of new Madonna music, another rumored track to be included on the greatest hits compilation is said to be a track titled “Revolver” that supposedly features Lil’ Wayne. (Not sure about this collaboration if ti’s true.) Anyway, a demo of the song has been on Youtube for a while now. It sounds more like something suited for Rihanna than Madonna if you ask me. I hope this rumor isn’t true because I really can’t see M pulling this one off… Check it out.
