Jason Derulo recently debunked rumors to MTV that he was working with Madonna on her next album. This is what the r&b crooner said of the rumor;
“The Madonna thing is actually a rumor. I don’t know where it came from. It may have come from me just being a big fan of hers, and people knowing that I write songs for a lot of today’s biggest artists. It would be great if that did happen, but for right now it’s just a rumor. If the opportunity presented itself though, I would love to work with Madonna.”
Honestly, while I like Jason and wouldn’t mind seeing him collaborate with M… There’s a million other artists that I would much rather see work with her before him so I’m not too devastated that this has turned out to be an untrue rumor. The rumor that she’s releasing a new David Guetta produced single called “Boom,” on the other hand… I SOOOO WANT THAT ONE TO BE TRUE!

Jason Derulo has revealed that he’s about to collaborate with the queen of pop herself, Madonna! WOW… You don’t get to just collaborate with Madge unless she’s a fan on some level. Maybe having a tween daughter is keeping her “current” with the music trends these days. Here’s what Derulo told US Weekly;
“I’m about to work with Madonna, and I’ve been watching her for years. I would love to be a part of another reinvention. She’s been able to reinvent herself time and time again. I’ll probably be part of that.”
Seems only fitting since he toured with the court jester of pop, Lady Gaga.
These guys never cease to amaze me! DJ’s From Mars have done it again!!! They have mashed Jason Derulo’s “Watcha Say” with Safri Dou’s classic dance anthem “Played Alive” to create with EPIC electro floor-filler!!! It’s like the two songs where made for each other! DJ’s From Mars are by far the most exciting remix production team that I’ve come across in a long, long time! Keep it up, guys! Can’t wait to hear an extended version of this one…

Jason Derulo really started a trend with his song “Watcha Say” that sampled (or should I say “reinterpreted”) Imogen Heap’s “Hide and Seek“. He seemed to have brought mass mainstream awareness to this obscure but beautiful song because I’ve been hearing the original all over the place lately. The latest its pop up is on a new hip hop track called “What She Said” by an artist named I.V.A.N.. He actually samples Imogen’s version on his record which I like better than the “covered” vocals on the Jason Derulo song. Check it…

I think Lady Gaga should stop trying to incorporate hip-hip artists into her Monster Ball Tour… Just has been bad luck for her so far. First the whole Kanye West “creative differences” fiasco and now Kid Cudi has officially been dropped from any further tour dates after he jumped off the stage and punched a concert-goer (who he thought through something at him) in the face. While Interscope is not saying that’s the actual reason that Cudi will no longer be riding Gaga’s coat tails… I think it’s pretty safe to assume. Cudi will be replaced by Jason Derulo.
This new Ruff Loaderz remix of Jason Derulo’s “Watcha Say” blows all the previously released official remixes of the song out of the water!! Can’t wait to throw this one into my set…
