Rumor has it that Janet Jackson has agreed to join her brothers Tito, Jermain, Jackie & Marion in a Jackson 5 reunion tour in order to honor Michael and his “This Is It” comeback concert that never happened. The new world tour will even incorporate some of the sets that were suppose to be in Michael’s show. According to Jermain, fans will get an extra special treat now that Janet has decided that she will step in to replace Michael…

“Janet will be joining us. We’re all talking about it now. She has never played with us before so that will be very special. She definitely wants to do it. We had a conference call and Janet has agreed to join us on tour.”

Wow… Looks like it’s going to be a family affair! If this is true, I wonder what this means for Janet’s album that she’s currently working on or any possibility for her own tour???

A few months back I posted a track that was a supposed Janet Jackson/Pittbull collaboration called “Not My Name” that turned out to be only a demo with a Janet sound-alike on vocals. Today mega-producer Darkchild posted the actual finished track with Janet’s vocals on his official website for your listening pleasure! Although Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri ended their romantic relationship last year, the pair have remained civil and are continuing their professional relationship in the studio. Apparently, JD has produced a new track for Janet that will play as the theme song for her upcoming movie, ‘Why Did I Get Married Too?’. The song is titled “Nothing” and should make it’s debut in the very near future! Jermaine is also collaborating with his ex on her next studio album due out this year!

The movie, which features Janet Jackson in a starring role, was in the process of being filmed when her brother Michael passed away. Janet supposedly immersed herself into this role as a form of therapy when she returned to work after Michael’s death.
