If you’re a fan of the Freemasons and you haven’t been following them on Facebook, SHAME ON YOU!!! This month, they gave fans quite a treat when they treated us to a previously unreleased bootleg production for 12 days before Christmas. Yup… 12 newly released bootlegs!! I of course downloaded all of them but which included exciting new Freemasons versions of everything from Adele to Rihanna to Prince!! I also was surprised to find out that the Freemasons have remixed one of my favorite tracks by one of my favorite hip hop groups, The Black Eyed Peas!! Take a listen to their take on BEP’s “Rock Your Body“… It’s been rockin’ my set since I got this gem last week!!!

Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep” has been one of those tracks to get remixed to heaven, hell, back to earth then to purgatory. In other words, it’s been remixed so damn much that the though of hearing yet another version of this song makes my ears bleed. I’m so anti-this song at this point that I swore off previewing anymore mixes of the God forsaken, over-played song… That is until today when I saw the words “Freemasons Bootleg” attached to the song title!!! Leave it to the Freemasons to breathe new life into a play-out track making me fall in love with it all over again. Check it out… And listen all the way through… This one is all about the build!

Check out the directors cut of her HIT single “Run The World (Girls)” lifted off of the deluxe edition of her album. I like the original better but for the hardcore Honey-B stans, there are a lot of new scenes in it. Speaking of B’s album, I have some good news and some bad news… The good news is despite the fact the first two singles have bombed hard, she still managed to debut at #1 this week on Billboard’s 200. Bad news, she debuted with the lowest numbers in her career. I think if her label was smart, they would throw her ass back in the studio to quickly move on to the next album… Or just get the Freemasons to remix every track off of the record! I’m hoping for the latter…

I just couldn’t stand it having such a great Freemasons production in my hands that I couldn’t play in my sets because of the slow tempo. (121 BPM)

So I took matters in my own hands and times stretched the Freemasons remix of “Still Cryin‘” by Nightcrawlers Ft. Taio Cruz using one of the best time-stretching softwares that I know of, Time Factory. I sped up the song to 129 BPM with minimal quality loss!! Check out the new and improved, sped up version of “Still Cryin‘”…  It sounds just as good (if not better) with the sped up tempo!

The Freemasons have produced a down-tempo (but still danceable) remix for the latest single by Nightcrawlers featuring Taio Cruz called “Still Crynin’“. This song is actually a rework of an earlier Taio Cruz song called “Crying Over You“. This isn’t anything I would play in my sets (mainly because of the tempo) but I’m really loving this production! Check it out…

I think I just died and went to heaven when I came across this unreleased Freemasons remix of Rihanna’s “Only Girl“. This private Freemasons remix should have most definitely been released… It’s the best mix of the song!!! Take a listen…

It may not be as big a hit as her first dance single “Happiness,” but I am totally in love with Alexis Jordan’s new single/remixes for “Good Girl“!! There’s a little something for everyone in this stellar remix package! A little Freemason, some Bimbo Jones, even a lil’ Manny Lehman for your circuit boys! I have been playing the Freemasons mix for a while now but I’m actually really feeling Bimbo Jones’ production from this new remix package!
