Flo Rida’s new David Guetta produced single “Club Can’t Handle Me” is currently one of my favorite tracks that I’m listening to in my iPod. Yeah, it’s a bit on the cheesy side… A little reminiscent of “I Gotta Feelin‘”… But I’m sucker for a good uplifting hook with a dance beat. Anyhow, lastnight I came across this fun little Saint Project remix of the song that I threw into my set and went over pretty well! Check it out…

Oh no… It has begun! Now that Bieber fever is in full force, we’re bound to see a bunch of imitations pop up. Like this little Bieber wannabe from Austrailia named Cody Simpson that somehow convinced Flo Rida to appear on his debut single “iYiYi“. I couldn’t even stomach watching the whole video after this little Cody character accosted me with that annoying sappy smile of his. (See below) I just can’t take it. Can someone in the music industry please put an end to these 2nd graders making hip hop videos!!! PLEASE!!!!

This new hip hop dance jam is very reminiscent of last summer’s dance anthem ”I Gotta Feelin‘” by The Black Eyed Peas. (which was also produced by Guetta) Will “Club Can’t Handle Me” be as massively successful this summer as “I Gotta Feelin” was last year? Word in the hood is that R&B star Brandy is dating Flo Rida! The two were seen cozying up together at Haze Nightclub in Las Vega last week. This new relationship comes shortly after it was announced that Brandy and her brother Ray J are about to star in a new VH1 reality show together. Looks like Brandy’s is “Sittin’ on top of the world” right now… Either that or this whole hook up is means of garnering some publicity for her new show. (That kind of stuff does happen in Hollywood you know!)

Superstar DJ/producer, Tiesto, is trying to pull a David Guetta these days by collaborating with mainstream pop & hip-hop artists. Check out his latest production for Three 6 Mafia’s new single “Feel It” which also features cameo’s by Flo Rida & Sean Kingston. Now, I’m all for the worlds of hip-hop and house merging together to create a new “hip-house” genre but I don’t know if I’m feeling this track in particular. It’s kind of a mess of a song… I just don’t think Tiesto has captured the same kind of magic that Guetta achieved with The Black Eyed Peas, Akon or Kelly Rowland.
