Here are the rest of the AMA performances from last night. I think my fav’s of the night (besides Janet & Whitney) came from Shakira, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez & The Black Eyed Peas. I know I’m gonna get a lot of flack for not adding Lady Gaga to my list of favorite performances but I just think she’s a little too much and tries WAAAYYYY too hard to shock people by being “avant garde” that her whole act just comes off as a messy ingenuine performance… Just like her MTV VMA performance this year. It’s too bad because I really like the song “Speechless” but I think she took away from the heart and beauty of the song by resorting to her typical shenanigans. But then again… Would anyone really pay any attention to her if she didn’t resort to the Halloween costumes and over the top theatrics? I think probably not. As I said before, I know I’ll piss a lot of people off by not jumping on the Lady Gaga bandwagon but she still hasn’t done anything yet to really move me… I’m still waiting.
Really Mariah? Good ol’ MC is still denying that her song “Obsessed” is about her arch-nemesis Eminem and is now claiming that the song was intended as an anthem for people who have been abused by a stalker;
“I wouldn’t ever call anyone an inspiration for that song. But I’m happy all the people who have been stalked and abused now have an anthem.”
Yeah, because that’s a very common issue that the every-day joe experiences in life… Being stalked. Nice try back peddling Mariah.
In other MC album news… Mariah has dedicated her new album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel to Michael Jackson and has already revealed 2 of the songs that will be released as singles as; “Angels Cry” & “Ribbon“. Both decent, “single worthy” songs.

Someone over at he MTV studio’s is probably on their phone with their lawyers as we speak!!! Someone leaked a photocopy of the complete list of winners online. And just a fair warning… If you don’t want any spoilers, stop reading NOW!! Not to my surprise… Lady Gaga is the lead winner with a total of 6 wins. Eminem came in second with 3 wins… He won for best Hip Hop video with “We Made You” which I think is total bullshit and should have gone to Kanye this year. What was so extraordinary about Eminem dressing up as celebrities (yet again) for another spoof video… Seriously MTV? I’m not gona post the complete list here but if you really wanna see it…. I was wondering when we would hear from Eminem after Mariah Carey released her latest single “Obsessed” which is a blatant diss track aimed at the rapper. Well Em has responded with this new track titled “The Warning” and let me tell you… He comes out swingin’ and doesn’t hold back at all! Damn Mariah, you done pissed him off because he’s resorting to threatening you in this response track. I like a good song battle royale like the next guy, but Em has taken this war of words to a whole new level that I’m not sure I’m comfortable with. He’s such a douche bad and obviously he has some strong sentiment towards M.C.… She must have really broken his fragile little heart.

Looks like Mariah Carey isn’t the only artist to publicly slam her long-time rival (Eminem) in the form of song these says. Brooke Hogan has recorded a new track in which she puts some hardcore fightin’ words to music as well. The song is called “Ur Not That Hot” and her target is none other than Hills star and tabloid public enemy #1, Heidi Montag. If it was anyone else that she was dissin’, I might not have appreciated the song as much but since I think Heidi and Spencer are a waste of celebrity all I have to say is… Touche Brooke… Touche! (The song is actually pretty damn good too!)

She video is supposedly suppose to be a recreation of a movie called “Kings of Comedy“ that starred Jerry Lewis & Robert DeNiro. Hmmm…

It’s finally here!!! Mariah Carey’s much anticipated new single “Obsessed” has hit the airwaves and from my first impression, this will most likely be another #1 hit for Mariah! MiMi definitely comes out swinging at someone lyrically with this one but I’m just tryin to figure out who exactly. Early reports claim the song is a dis at Eminem but with lyrics like “why you so obsessed with me?/Lying that your sexin’ me,” I don’t know if that’s actually the case. Did Em ever claim he slept with MC? Hmmm??? Anyway, here’s a little tid bit for ya… If this song hits the #1 position, Mariah will surpass the Beatles to hold the title of most #1’s by any artist, EVER!!
