Last night I DJed an AMAZING gig at Hillcrest Mardi Gras here in San Diego, CA. My crowd was effen amazing! They were on fire all night and made this gig one of my most memorable EVER! I also have to give props to some of the stellar productions that made my set so… Dave Aude’s remix of Kelis‘ “Acapella” was a crowd favorite last night as well as the Richard Vission mix of Eva Simons’ “Silly Boy.”
I wanted to give a very special shout out to DJ’s From Mars whose remix productions gave my set that little extra somethin’, somethin’ that drove the crowd BANANA’S!!! I ended my set with their incredible remix of Jay-Z, Kanye West & Rihanna’s “Run This Town” mashed with Bach’s “Mass in B Minor.” I’ve actually posted the video for this production before but if you didn’t listen to it the first time around, check out the genius behind this remix!
I get a lot of emails about this particular mix that I posted a while back. It’s a Dave Aude remix of Selena Gomez’ “Naturally.” Today I ran across this remix video for the tune and thought that since you guys where so into this version, I should post it. Especially since the video is pretty damn nifty in the first place!
Thank the Lord for this Dave Aude remix of Kelis‘ latest, “Acapella“!!! I was starting to give up hope on this song since the original has not faired very well for me in my sets. I think I will have much better luck with Dave’s version!

Dave Aude has done it AGAIN!!! He has turned out Lady Gaga’s current single “Bad Romance” into a full on club anthem! Congrats Britney!!! Her new single “3” off of her so to be released singles collection will debut @ # 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart this week. This is the first time in 3 years for a song to debut at the top spot on the BB chart! I’m not a big Britney fan, but even I like this song. The lyrics are totally ridiculous but something about the arrangement is dangerously catchy to the point that I just can’t get the song out of my head!

As we’re waiting for Jive to deliver the official mixes of Britney Spears’ latest single “3“, the bootleg mixes have been popping up everywhere. I hadn’t heard any worth posting for you guys until tonight. Bit Error delivered a pretty brilliant mashup using a Dave Aude instrumental that sounds as if it was MADE for the Britney single. Definitely expect to hear this one in my set this weekend…
