Producer extraordinaire Barry Harris has just delievered one of the most ingenious mashups that I’ve heard in a long, long, long time! He has produced an epic 12 minute and 30 second mash of the Dave Aude remix of Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro” with Madonna’s “Holiday“! This works SO much better than the DJ’s From Mars attempt of mashing “Alejandro” with Madonna’s “Hung Up” that I posted last week!!! Oh… And what makes this remix even more brilliant is it’s mashup title; “Holijandro“!!! LOL! Thank you Barry for showin’ us how it’s really done!

Sarah Mclachlan is no stranger to the dancefloor… She has released a few good remix albums throughout her career and who could ever forget her CLASSIC collaborated with Delirium,”Silence“. Sarah is back with a new album called Laws of Illusion and while you won’t find any dance productions on the LP, it looks like her first single “Loving You Is Easy” has already received a hot little remix treatment by Dave Aude. Rihanna current single “Rockstar 101” might be tanking on radio but the newly released remixes might just save the song as a club hit! As always, Dave Aude delivers a solid production on this one and is my favorite of the bunch. (He really can do no wrong lately!) The other remixes provided by Chew Fu, LoOse CanNons & Mark Picchiotti are all actually pretty great as well! Check em out…

As I previously predicted, Kelis‘ second single will be “4th of July” as you can see from the official single artwork. Glad she released this track since it’s one of my favorites off of the album. Can’t wait to get some HOT remix treatments on this one!! I’m crossing my fingers for a Dave Aude remix as well as a beefed up David Guetta club mix.

Here’s the video for newcomer Alexis Jordan’s debut single “Happiness“. The song is pretty cheesy as a whole, and I probably would have totally skipped over this one if not for the beautiful Dave Aude remix I recently got into. The video is typical teeny-bopper cheese but well done!
