Remember Billie “Kiss the Rain” Myers? Well she’s back with a brand new single called “Wonderful” that already has received the remix treatment by the one and only, Barry Harris, as well as new-comer, Cajjmere Wray. If you know your Barry Harris history… This isn’t the first time Barry & Billie have worked with one another. Way back-when, Barry was a part of the massively successful production-duo Thunderpuss with Chirs Cox… It was their production of “Kiss the Rain” that pretty much put the two on the map as one of the most successful remix production teams of all time.

After a long hiatus, Barry is back and has been throwing himself back into the remix-production world as a solo artist. This new Billie Myers production is pretty damn good, if I do say so myself. Dare I say that it’s even a little bit reminiscent of the work he use to do as a part of TP? Not only is Barry back in the game but he’s not messing around… He provided us 3 completely different remixes for the song so that you can best fit it into your set!

Cajjmere Wray’s remix is pretty enjoyable as well. He is quickly becoming one of my favorite up and comers… I’m still getting a lot of play out of his remix of Mariah Cary’s “Obsessed“.

All in all, this is a pretty solid comeback single for Billie Myers with some strong & exciting remixes to accompany it. Check them out for yourselves…

Two of my favorite dance producers, Chris Cox & Jody Den Broeder, have gotten together to remix Blake Lewis’ latest single “Sad Song” and the end result is a MASTERPIECE!!! I absolutly love the electro-rock vibe that they worked the song into… Totally unexpected from a collaboration with these two producers but worked out really well. As I previously posted, the powers at be in good ol’ Hollywood are doing a new movie remake of Fame. One of the stars of the film, Naturi Naughton, has also recorded a new version of the classic movie theme by the same name.  Her version isn’t my favorite (to put it nicely) but today I got a promo with a few dance remixes of her updated version of “Fame“. Sadly, none of the mixes are really grabbing my attention as of yet either but I decided to post the Chris Cox remix because he’s always been a favorite producer of mine and has been a little M.I.A. lately. Again, I’m not really impressed with any of the mixes but hopefully some of my readers might enjoy this Chris Cox remix…
