After a long hiatus, former C+C Music Factory vocalist Zelma Davis is back with a brand new dance single called “Free Love“. Check out this fun piano driven Barry Harris remix that takes me back to the good ol’ Thunderpuss days. I’m so glad we have Barry out of retirement and back to doing what he does best! Here’s a surprising yet exciting little collaboration for ya… Dance music legend, Barry Harris, has teamed up with one of my favorite up-and-comers, Cajjmere Wray, on a remix for Matisse’s latest single, “Better Than Her“! Could this be considered the beginning of Thunderpuss2010?! LOL! I’m sure Barry would probably cringe at the idea of that name, but I couldn’t resist! Check out this stellar remix production from the dynamic duo. I actually think their styles compliment each other very well!

Remember Billie “Kiss the Rain” Myers? Well she’s back with a brand new single called “Wonderful” that already has received the remix treatment by the one and only, Barry Harris, as well as new-comer, Cajjmere Wray. If you know your Barry Harris history… This isn’t the first time Barry & Billie have worked with one another. Way back-when, Barry was a part of the massively successful production-duo Thunderpuss with Chirs Cox… It was their production of “Kiss the Rain” that pretty much put the two on the map as one of the most successful remix production teams of all time.

After a long hiatus, Barry is back and has been throwing himself back into the remix-production world as a solo artist. This new Billie Myers production is pretty damn good, if I do say so myself. Dare I say that it’s even a little bit reminiscent of the work he use to do as a part of TP? Not only is Barry back in the game but he’s not messing around… He provided us 3 completely different remixes for the song so that you can best fit it into your set!

Cajjmere Wray’s remix is pretty enjoyable as well. He is quickly becoming one of my favorite up and comers… I’m still getting a lot of play out of his remix of Mariah Cary’s “Obsessed“.

All in all, this is a pretty solid comeback single for Billie Myers with some strong & exciting remixes to accompany it. Check them out for yourselves…

Barry Harris, former one half of the highly successful remix production duo Thunderpuss, is back in action after a long hiatus. Last we heard from Barry, he broke up with his TP partner Chris Cox and I think even proclaimed that he was”retiring” from the music production industry. Well, after taking some time off it seems that Barry has once again been bitten by the production bug and has just released a new single called “Drama Queen (Texting U)” with vocalist Simone Denny.

Great dance track… Nothing like a Thunderpuss production if that’s what you’re looking for but catchy lyrics and Simone’s vocals are flawless as usual. (If you’ve never heard her before… Take a listen to this.) Welcome back Barry & Simone, my dance floor has missed you both!
