Since Whitney Houston can barley since this song herself anymore… Death Metal Disco Scene has done a smooth little electro-pop cover of “I Wanna Dance With Somebody“. Love me some Whitney but since she insists on destroying her instrument by smoking, I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ll just have to look forward to some amazing covers of her classic hits if I want to hear them sung properly!

The Bird and the Bees are back with a brand new tune which just happens to be a cover of one of my favorite 80’s songs… “Man Eater” originally sung by Hall & Oats. I adore (lead singer) Inara George’s smooth vocal on this one… Makes me want to jump out my seat and start doing an embarrassing 80’s dance! (You know, the one where you flail your arms from side to side while snapping.)

Video Premiere: Meck Ft. Dino – Feels Like A Prayer

This kinda caught me by surprise. For those of you who saw Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour, you might remember the amazing mashup of Meck’s club hit, “Feels Like Home, ” with Madge’s “Like a Prayer“. (That number was one of my personal favorites from the concert.) Looks like Meck really took to the mashup as well because he’s releasing his own version of the production with someone covering Madonna’s vocal. Not exactly the same without the actual Madonna but still a fun cover. Check out the newly released video for remix… (Sorry, no Madonna in the video either.)

Rihanna Gets Frisky With Robots In German “Rude Boy” Performance…

This week, Rihanna took the stage in Germany to perform her hit “Rude Boy” on the Echo Awards. Ri-Ri got a little naughty in her much talked about performance with 2 mechanical robots that danced and groped the Barbadian bombshell on stage. Pretty awesome!

One ex-Pussycat Dolls member, Kimberly Wyatt, is ready to step into center stage and begin her solo career after leaving the group. This week Kimberly posted this vlog to her fans, thanking them for all of their support & introduced a new song that she’s recorded called “Not Just a Doll“. I don’t wanna be a nay sayer but Kimberly’s gonna have to come a lot stronger than this if she wants a successful solo career… This song is kinda lame.
I just can’t wait for all of the ousted Dolls to get together to do a “tell all”, Nicole-bashing interview!! You know it’s bound to happen!
