Today Jennifer Lopez has dropped the official music video for her latest single “Live It Up“! Pretty smart (and calculated) timing , considering J Lo just performed the track last-night on American Idol. Even though I’m not a fan of the song (which sounds like a Nicki Minaj reject to me) I do find myself enjoying the fun music video a lot. Check it out…
Check out the world premiere of Mariah Carey’s new music video for her hot Miguel assisted new single “#Beautiful“! I’m very pleased with this new era of Mariah so far… If we’re not counting “Triumphant” that is. Both the new song & the accompanying music vide are AMAZING. Very reminiscent of her Dreamlover/Daydream era which is my all-time favorite!
Are you into the new Mariah so far? COMMENT HERE!!!
Selena Gomez has unveiled her new music video for her hot new single “Come & Get It” today! One things for certain… Selena sure ain’t that sweet innocent little girl anymore! Loving the new exotic sex-kitten persona! Check it out…
As much as I tried to resist this new David Guetta single “Play Hard” which features both Akon & Ne-Yo on vocals, I failed miserably and have been playing the song on repeat this week! And now the ridiculously over-the-top cooky music video just makes me love it more!Check it out…
Cahill’s collaboration with Kimberly Locke finally gets a visual this week with the release of the music video! I really like this song but the Kimberly-less vid that not only is missing the lead vocalist but a plot-line as well kind of bores me! I’d almost be happier with a cool graphic lyric music video! Check it out anyway… The song will make the next 3 plus minutes enjoyable!
Zedd’s leading lady in his “Clarity” single, Foxes, has just released a new single of her own titled beauty queen. The hauntingly beautiful mid-tempo number is just as catchy if not more so than her work with Zedd! And the newly released music vid that accompanies the song which infuses old movie footage with Disney animation and beauty pageant clips is pure genius! Check it out…
If the new Dave Aude featuring Luciana song that I posted last-night isn’t doin’ it for ya… I know you’re going to LOVE her new solo single ”U B The Bass“!! This is Luciana doing what she does best: Rapping (and a little bit of singing) over a hard hitting electro-pop beat. Check out the newly released music video for the blazin’ hot club MONSTER…
Justin Timberlake has released an interesting new visual for his latest single “Mirrors” which at the beginning of the clip he dedicates to his grandparents, William and Sadie. (The dedication probably stems from the passing of Justin’s grandfather late last year) The video is a huge departure for the “Suit & Tie” singer and tells the story of a couple (his grandparents most likely) throughout a 3 generation timeline which seems to overlap at times thanks to the dream-like, funhouse slant of the vid. Justin doesn’t even make an appearance in his artistic tribute until more than 5 minutes into the Floria Sigismondi (“The Runaways”) directed music video.
I know a lot of my readers initially weren’t that crazy about this song, siting that it sounds too much like a 3rd sequel to “Cry My a River” after “What Goes Around… Comes Around“… But I’m wondering if this creative and stunningly produced visual might change your minds? I must say that I found myself watching intently through the entire 8-minute-plus short film to follow the story of these characters in J.T.’s video tribute! That really says a lot since I have the attention span of about 20 seconds with the quality of music videos that are released these days.
Take a look at “Mirrors” and tell me if Justin is back in your good graces after the snore fest of “Suit & Tie“…
The just released music video for Havana Brown’s latest single “Big Banana” is about just as ridiculous as the song itself… But unlike the song which is my current guilty pleasure, I’m not as big a fan of Havan’s awkward dancing in the somewhat confusing clip. Check it out.
I try not to post Pitbull releases on here because he comes out with singles/collaborations/videos about as much as I stan for Madonna – A LOT! But I couldn’t resist posting the music video premiere for his latest single “Feel This Moment” only because of the massive appearance by Christina Aguilera in the clip! The song itself is pretty “meh” but the Christina moments and the A-Ha sample make it a bit more tolerable.
Mariah Carey keeps it simple and classy in her David LaChapelle directed music video for her Oz the Great and Powerful movie soundtrack single “Almost Home“. The lambs will be pretty happy with the clip since Mimi looks amazing! My only complaint… I was waiting for Mariah’s scenes to make the magical transition from black & white into color like the movie, but it never happened. Other than that… great video!
It’s a shame that Carly Rae Jepsen hasn’t been able to score a bonafied solo radio hit ever since her single “Call Me Maybe” became the most played and the most annoying song of 2012. She’s actually released a couple of much better tracks since then but it seems that “Call Me Maybe” may end up her biggest hit to date as well as her career kiss of death! For instance, her latest electro-pop single “Tonight I’m Getting Over You” is eons better than that pesky song that I will not name anymore through out this posting and I truly believe it would have been a huge hit had she released it before “that other track”! Check out the newly released music video for “Tonight I’m Getting Over You” and if you like it… Buy it maybe?!
Justin Timberlake is bring classy back with his just released music video for “Suit & Tie“! I know a lot of you are not on board with this song and I’m pretty certain this black & white music video will not help that in any way! Still worth giving it a gander just in case….
I wasn’t going to post this because I’m not a fan of this remix at all but decided I would go ahead and share it anyway for all you Britney fans that can’t get enough of the pop princess. She definitely gets a little more face time in the new video and I actually like her ghetto-fabulous make over better than the big-haired sorcerous look she dawned in the original video.
I just love it when artists release MY FAVORITE TRACK on their album! This is definitely the case with P!nk’s new single and music video for the Nate Ruess (lead singer of Fun) assisted cut “Just Give Me A Reason“! Check it out…
