This is sad… Rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny were arrested in the early hours of the morning after meth and ecstasy was found in their car when they were pulled over. The officers initially smelled marijuana in the car which prompted the searched that led them to discovering the harder substances. They were both booked for felony possession of a controlled substance.
What a fucking idiot! T.I. just got out of a jail a few months ago and is running around with crystal meth and ecstasy in his car… What ever happened to “the old me is dead and gone“?? He should go back and listen to his own song…

Check out this fun Flash Mob that took place in the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney where an army of dancers took on the Glee/Sue Sylvester version of “Vogue“. The sharped tongued Cheerios coach was portrayed by an over the top drag queen, of course! LOL!

Swedish pop Robyn performed a live cover of Björk’s “Hyperballad” this week at the Polar Music Prize ceremony where Björk was being honored for her song writing contributions in the music industry. The best part of this clip is Björk’s facial expression throughout the performance. I can’t tell weather she was so happy that she was about to cry or she was appalled at Robyn’s rocky performance of her classic song.
R&B powerhouse Tamia is currently in the studio working on a new album… Her first since 2006! Word is that Tamia has already recorded seven tracks for the new effort which will feature her signature mid-tempos jams as well as a few ballads. I’m praying that Tamia throws a bone to her very loyal dance fans includes at least one or two straight up dance numbers on the LP. (Why don’t these R&B/dance diva’s get it sometimes???)
Last year I reported that Tamia was working along side Deborah Cox and Kelly Price on a R&B girl-group called The Queen Project, but apparently this project has been shelved due to “scheduling conflicts”. (I think it was more likely due to a “clash of the divas”.) The Queen Project would have been a very cool affair if it transpired but I’m just as happy with getting some new music from Tamia…
