Those Aussies really love their drag queens!! Check out this fun Flash Mob that took place in the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney where an army of dancers took on the Glee/Sue Sylvester version of “Vogue“. The sharped tongued Cheerios coach was portrayed by an over the top drag queen, of course! LOL!
Before you get your hopes up… This clip is VERY low quality. Almost not worth posting at all but you can kinda make out the song… kinda. So this was one of the track that Oakenfold produced for Madonna for her greatest hits album, Celebration. Ultimately, the only track the two collaborated on that ended up making the final track-listing was “Celebration“. Well some lucky son of a bitch was fortunate enough to be in the same room with a copy of “Sorry (Broken)” and recorded a clip while it was playing… From what I can make out, it sounds like a great song! Crossing my fingers that baby Jesus grants my wish and makes a HQ copy of this track leak sometime in the very near future. Baby Jesus does grant wishes, doesn’t he???

Check out this never before seen photo of Madonna getting her hands dirty, scrubbing the floor for her Dolce & Gabbana 2010 Fall/Winter ad campaign. The photo was taken by Steven Klein and stays consistent with the “Italian housewive” story line of the photoshoot that we’ve already seen.
Happy birthday Madonna!!! The Queen of Pop turned 52 today!!! Check out the hot momma looking stunning as usual as she arrives to her b-day celebration in London. Here’s to another 52 more years of Madge!!
Madonna and her daughter Lourdes really seem to be very hands on with their new line of junior clothing that they collaborated on together called “Material Girl“. Check out these images of Madge directing and shooting the ad campaign that features Gossip Girl’sTaylor Momsen as the “face” of the fashion line. I think Lourdes would have made a better model for the line but I’m sure her protective mom wouldn’t let her… yet.
Producer extraordinaire Barry Harris has just delievered one of the most ingenious mashups that I’ve heard in a long, long, long time! He has produced an epic 12 minute and 30 second mash of the Dave Aude remix of Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro” with Madonna’s “Holiday“! This works SO much better than the DJ’s From Mars attempt of mashing “Alejandro” with Madonna’s “Hung Up” that I posted last week!!! Oh… And what makes this remix even more brilliant is it’s mashup title; “Holijandro“!!! LOL! Thank you Barry for showin’ us how it’s really done!

Check out these stunning photos of Madonna in her new Dolce & Gabbana 2010 fall/winter collection ad campaign. Mrs. Ciccone is seriously getting in touch with her Italian roots in these vintage Italian film inspired photo’s.
DJ’s From Mars have taken the supposed “next Madonna” A.K.A. Lady Gaga and mashed her with the one and only, real-deal Madonna…
Check out their mashup/electro remix production of “Alejandro” vs “Hung Up“…
I always thought “Hung Up” would have been a good mashing with “Telephone” and “La Isla Bonita” being better suited for “Alejandro,” but this works too… I guess?! Check it…

Austrailian pop has-been icon Helen Reddy who is best known for her girl power anthem “I Am Woman” has recently spoke out against Madonna in an interview, blaming her fellow pop icon for making young girls want to dress like prostitutes.
Apparently, the scathing rant came after Reddy embarked on a recent shopping trip to buy a bra but couldn’t find a style that fit because they were all too racy. Somehow, this is all Madonna’s fault according to Helen;
“I was in London earlier this year, and I had to get some new bras – because (mine) were falling off me. I go into the women’s lingerie department, and they’ve got pasties – you know, like strippers wear. They’ve got all these little fancy things, which all have wires – which I believe cause breast cancer – but nothing that’s for women who are older, or who are heavier, or who would like to dress like a lady…
“When I was a girl, we used to complain we were divided into two groups: We were either virgins or we were whores. And then along came Madonna – and now we’re all whores. It is horrifying to me to see these little girls, you know, dressed as sexpots, trying to imitate the latest video they’ve seen.”
Funny that the out of touch singer blames Madonna for this “whorish” trend when Madge dresses more and more conservative as she gets older. I can think of a few other younger artists that would be more sense to single out other than Madonna. (See post below) Madonna’s camp actually made a statement to address Helen’s comments and I have to say that in if this was a “bitch-off” competition … Madonna’s camp wins!! LOL!
“Why should Madonna be blamed for Helen Reddy not being able to find a good-fitting bra?… I know plenty of whores who wear sports bras instead of bustiers. Don’t judge a book, Helen.”
Madonna’s oldest daughter Lourdes (A.K.A. Lola) has just made her online debut as a fashion blogger!! Little Lola started the blog to promote the approaching release of the line of juniors clothing that she co-designed with her mom called Materiel Girl. Her first blog entry is pretty typical for what you would expect from a 13 year old girl. A lot of cute little teen catch phrases like; “for realz,” “holla!” and “obsessivo”… So pretty much just like my blog! LOL! Here is the mini-material girl’s introduction to the blogosphere…
“Helluuur thurrrr, I’m Lola and this is my first blog entry so it’s kind of like ummmm….
I’m just going to use this blog entry to tell y’all a little bit about myself. I’m 13 and I’ll be 14 in October, so I can’t wait for that because I am FINALLY allowed to dye my hair… THANK YOU MOTHER!! My favvvv color is black (just because it goes with everything) and my least favorite color is brown (because it resembles the color of something QUITE gross).
I am totally obsessivo about 80’s shorts… You know the kind that makes your butt look kinda big, with a grunge-looking shirt tucked in. It’s kinda nerdy but I love it. And the 80’s are another huge obsession of mine, which is totally amazingly awesome because Material Girl…HELLO! It’s like 80’s themed, which pretty much rocks, so yeah. I’m still in love with brogues or as some people call them “oxford shoes”. I haven’t found a good sandal so I’m on like a search right now.
I’m in London right now and the best stores ever here, I love the vintage stores down in Whitechapel, also a lot of hot guys hang there just in case y’all care. Music wise My Chemical Romance is THE BEST BAND EVER for realzzzz. They are so awesome it hurts. If you don’t know who they are just… go away OR download their songs.
So, as you may know, Material Girl is coming out soon… HOLLA HOLLA! Ok and this is pretty awesome I will send a FREE t-shirt to the first person who can tell me in which big store the opening of Material Girl is….how cool rigghhhhhht???Annnnnnd I am 4 realz excited for the opening which I will give you the exact dates for in my next blog entry, so stay tuned for more.
So I want to know what you guys think about rompers… is that like a hit or miss, ‘cause I’m not sure. If you comment, be sure to tell me what you think.
OK but no joke gladiator sandals are OUT. They came out in summer 2008 and I was like, ok those are really cute. Then 2009 comes around and people are still wearing them so I’m like, ok whatever it’s just a phase. BUT NOOOOO. Because good old 2010 is now coming along and people are STILL wearing them, and then I was just like OK NO! It’s been three years people COME ON!!!!!!!!! I’m just like what????
Ok so I think that is sufficient for my first blog entry and what do you know, it wasn’t all like “ummmmm”. I look forward to writing my second one. Stay tuned if you don’t already think I’m annoying.
Hilarious that she thanks good her mom for letting her die her hair when she turns 14!!! DON’T DIE IT PLATINUM BLONDE LOLA!!! (Maybe some subtle highlights.)
