Janet Jackson has revealed that she has NOT stopped making music/albums as her ex-boyfriend, Jermaine Dupri, previously said of her current state in music. Janet was in Brixton promoting her current film Why Did I Get Married Too? this weekend and was asked the music questions during a promotional interview on the red carpet. I’ve heard some weird Michael Jackson rumors in the past, but this one is just so strange that it’s kinda disturbing to me. The latest M.J. faked his death conspiracy theories are claiming the King of Pop is posing as a famous 33 year old burn victim named Dave Dave that Michael befriended as a child.
For those of you that don’t remember Dave Dave (or David Rothenberg), his tragic story made headline news when he was only six years old. Dave was set on fire by his own father who was seeking revenge on his mother during a bitter child custody case. The poor kid suffered 90% injuries and was scarred badly but survived. Michael reached out to little Dave to invite him to his Neverland ranch and eventually befriended the little boy and his family. He even paid for a lot of Dave’s surgeries over the years.
As an adult, Dave legally changed his last name to “Dave” so that he could liberate himself from his horrible father’s surname. (Understandably so) Dave Dave maintained a friendship with Michael over the years and was invited to and attended Michael’s funeral after his passing.
Now some Michael Jackson fanatics on Michaeljacksonhoaxforum.com are convinced that the King of Pop is alive and well and is posing as Dave Dave to avoid being discovered. They argue that Dave’s mannerisms and voice are identical to Michael’s (which is kinda true) and that his eye color has changed from blue/green to brown. (That part I’m not so sure about.) This whole rumor gives me the creeps… Not because I believe it’s true but because there are people out there that actually do!!! That idea is disturbing all on its own! Which leads me to ask the question… If M.J. is now posing as Dave Dave, what happened to the real Dave Dave according to these conspiracy theorists?! Did Michael have him killed off…? Or did he pay for some kind of miracle reconstructive surgery to make him look like a normal man in exchange for his identity?! Ok, now I’m theorizing… I really need to stop!!
Christina Aguilera sat down with GMTV on the set of her “Not Myself Tonight” music video and opened up about how being a mom has made her more confident in “her own skin” and makes her feel “sexier” than she has ever felt before. The king of offensive shock-rock, Marilyn Manson, has ruffled some feathers over the years but you may be surprised to hear what he recently told E! News really offends him these days…
“I’m starting to feel that people are saying I’m Lady Gaga and also that Jesse James woman. (Michelle “Bombshell” McGee) I’m starting to feel insulted, ’cause I don’t want to look like either one of them.”
Actually Marilyn, you kinda do. And the fact that you are “insulted” by this is just priceless!!!
After a loooong absence from the entertainment industry, Shania Twain says she is ready to make her return to the spotlight with a new reality show. The show will follow Shania as she tries to pick up the pieces of her life and rekindle her music career which she practically turned her back on after her devastating divorce from ex-husband, Robert “Mutt” Lange. Shania recently told Oprah that she’s still in the process of healing from a dark depression caused by her divorce and that the new show (Which will be on Oprah’s new television network) will follow her as she tries to find her path out of the dark slump;
“I feel like in a way I’m starting over, with everything. This is a very personal experience that I think is important to share. This is an experience of recovery. I was in a very deep, dark slump, and I needed to find a way to get myself out of it. I had to force myself back out into life, back out into experiencing things.”
Wow… Sounds like she was really in a lot of pain! Shania’s 14 year marriage with Lange fell apart when she discovered that he was having a relationship with her longtime friend and assistant, Marie-Anne Thiébaud back in 2008. After the divorce, Shania says she lost herself in a deep depression depression that made her lose interest in everything & everyone;
“There were moments when I really just thought, I don’t need anything and I don’t need anyone. I just want to go away and disappear. So, that was a bad slump.”
Shania’s new show is called Why Not? With ShaniaTwain, which she says was the train of thought that helped her take the first steps in recovery;
“One day, someone said to me, ‘Do you want to go jump out of an airplane?’ I felt like I had nothing to lose anymore, so I said, ‘Why not?’ And every day since then, I ask myself that question.”
My heart really goes out to Shania. I’ve always been a big fan of hers and I really hope she overcomes this hardship and gets back to doing what she does best… Making beautiful music!
Jennifer Lopez recently sat down with the The Advocate to discuss her admiration for the gay community and why she loves to perform for gay audiences;
“It’s the best audience ever. You guys enjoy the music, you get into it, and you’re not afraid to let go and express yourself. That’s what I want from an audience. I recently did a show where the crowd was just standing there, staring at me with their camera phones up, YouTubing me or whatever the heck they do now. I was like, ‘This is crazy! I need vibe!’ I’d so much rather have you guys jumping up and down, waving your arms in the air.”
J Lo also debunked rumors that she is bi-sexual;
“No, I am not bisexual….I’ve never kissed a girl.”
So I guess we’re not gonna get any faux-lesbian music out off Mizz Lopez anytime soon.
This just ain’t right… Lady Gaga is saying that she suffers from severe insomnia and that she won’t take any kind of medication to help her sleep. She even admits that her unhealthy lifestyle can eventually do some damage mentally but has a flippant attitude about it.
“I’m already crazy. I’m a fearless person. I think it creeps up on you. I don’t think it can be stopped. If my destiny is to lose my mind because of fame, then that’s my destiny. But my passion still means more than anything.
“For some people, fame kills it and becomes more important than the music or the performance. But for me fame is like rocket fuel. The more my fans like what I’m doing, the more I want to give back to them. And my passion is so strong I can’t sleep – I haven’t slept for three days.”
“I lie in bed and try to pray and breathe. I have a very overactive mind. I’m the sort of person who’d never take medication to calm myself. It’s maddening. But I love what comes out.”
3 days? You might as well be a meth-addict when your staying awake for days at a time. I talk a lot of smack about Gaga, but these comments make me genuinely concerned for the girl. This is really scary stuff coming from the mouth of a new artist that has already collapsed numerous times during concert appearances and has been forced to cancel some shows because of her exhaustion. Didn’t Mariah Carey suffer from the same kind of symptoms before she had a complete meltdown back in the day?
It’s almost as if she’s purposely being wreckless so she can eventually become some sort of pop-martyr.
