Sexy rocker, Lenny Kravitz, dropped by George Lopez this week to discuss a new album and his first single called “Another Day” that will feature vocals by the late Michael Jackson! Earlier this year a clip of “Another Day” leaked online which prompted Lenny to release a vlog explaining that he had recorded the song with MJ years prior and promised that he was working on getting the song released in some form for the world to enjoy. Looks like Lenny followed through with his word. Check out the clip which features mostly vocals by Michael.

Miley Cyrus recently sat down with Teen Vogue to discuss her new movie and how her and her hot boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, are “deeper” than the rest of us! When she was asked if she had instant chemistry with Liam, this is how Miely answered;
“Yeah. I think we’re both deeper than normal people—what they think and how they feel. He’s very grateful for what he has, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. I’m like that too.”

Barbara Walters has revealed in a recent interview with the TorontoStar that her one regret in her career was pressuring Ricky Martin to answer weather or not he was gay;
“In 2000, I pushed Ricky Martin very hard to admit if he was gay or not, and the way he refused to do it made everyone decide that he was. A lot of people say that destroyed his career, and when I think back on it now I feel it was an inappropriate question.”
Wow… What a brave woman to admit fault and take accountability. On the bright side, Ricky seem quite happy in his life these days raising his twin baby boys.
In a recent interview with The Advocate, Ke$ha reveals her admiration for the transgender ladies…
“I am a huge fan of the transgender community. I am so not a proper, good female. I can’t dance in high heels and I’m just so not girly, but then I see these men with these banging bodies, dancing in heels, singing, and having so much fun with so much makeup on. That makes me honestly want to be a better woman. It is so fascinating that someone can commit their whole entire lifestyle to being such a fantastic woman when I’m such a bum about it.”
A friend on a dance music forum that I frequent pointed me to this amazing article about this 69 y.o. woman named Ruth Flowers who is a famous DJ in the Paris club scene! Jessica Simpson appeared on TheOprah Show today and told the big “O” that she does NOT accept John Mayer’s apology for dishing the dirt on their sex-life. For those of you that don’t know the full story, John recently compared his (former) sex-life with Jessica to being addicted to crack in a tell-all interview with Playboy. I feel really bad for Jess… She may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but the poor girl isn’t made of stone either and has been used as a public punching bag by some of her exes.
Lady Gaga is preaching about celibacy now? Really?! The “Bad Romance” singer is telling her fans that they should get to know someone before jumping into the sack with them;
“If you can’t get to know them, you shouldn’t have sex with them. It’s OK at this point, in this day and age, we have to grow up and we now know that we can’t be that free with love.”
Gaga also claims she’s currently single (despite contrary rumors) and that she doesn’t mind being celibate;
“I’m single because I don’t have the time. You know what? It’s OK. Even Lady Gaga can be celibate, you don’t have to have sex to be loved. My fans are my roommates. The thing that keeps me warm at night is my sense of self. When I see my beautiful fans I feel how much they protect and mean to me. It would be irresponsible if I didn’t protect them and teach young people to be self expressive, to love yourself.”
This is all pretty funny coming from the girl who’s hit “Love Game” talks about seeing someone from across the bar then riding on their “disco stick”. Nothing screams celibacy like riding a little “disco stick”!!!
The mother of Jasmina Anema (The 6-year-old girl who died of leukemia in January) is speaking out in disappointment against Rihanna who developed a close friendship with the sick little girl but has not sent her condolences to her family since her passing. This weekend, someone posted the following message on the ONEFORJASMINA Twitter account which is run by Mrs. Anema;
“It has been a month since Jasmina’s passing. Still not even a card or text message from Rihanna. Did she use my child for a publicity stunt?”
The post has since been deleted and Thea Anema has denied ever writing the message to People Magazine, but she did acknowledge her hurt and disappointed towards Rihanna for not reaching out after Jasmina’s death.
“Friends have helped me with all kinds of stuff and many know the passwords to my personal e-mail, the Caringbridge site and also Twitter. Although I did not Tweet this particular one, I do wish that Rihanna had responded to me on Jasmina’s passing. It would have meant the world to me.”
However, Anema does say that she is very grateful for everything that Rihanna did for Jasmina while she was still alive and that Jasmine “adorned her”.
I love Rihanna and hope she breaks her silence and does something special for Jasmina’s family. It’s never too late Ri-Ri…
After a string of rocky vocal performances in Australia, Whitney Houston has come under fire by disgruntled fans who think that she needs to hang up the towel if she doesn’t have the chops to perform as she use to. Today, her promoter down under (Andrew McManus) who originally defended the aging diva is now blaming Whitney’s refusal to stop smoking on her sub-par performances.
“Whitney smokes. God bless her, I can’t tell her not to. She will not take any substances. She just will not. It is what it is. She’s comfortable with the show she’s performing. She knows she’s not hitting every note like she used to. But it’s value for money, it’s Whitney Houston warts and all,”
McManus says that Whitney’s tobacco addiction is the reason that she has been out of breath on stage and having trouble hitting the notes that made her famous.
“I talked to her after the Sydney show. I told her I have her back, but she said, ‘If the good Lord wants me to be attacked and ridiculed that’s the road I have to go down.’ It’s an interesting approach. Here I am being aggressive in trying to protect her and she said, ‘I love you for it but let it go. I can only give my best, if that’s not good enough, so be it. I’m comfortable in my own skin.’”
Wow… You know, I think I find it more disappointed in knowing that Whitney continues to abuse & throw away what use to be a powerhouse of a voice by choosing to smoke. It’s simply taking for granted God’s gift. Such a shame and disappointment.
In a recent radio interveiw, Timbaland had some very nice (and true) things to say about the Queen of Pop, Madonna…
“People do not respect music anymore… They go by what’s hot… If you’re hot, you deserve 4 or 5 Grammys. Madonna is a genius and she only has 2 or 3 Grammys… What is that about?”
So true, Timbo… So true! I hope he collaborates with M on a couple songs for her next album again. I really enjoyed his work on Hard Candy.
