Madonna unleashed her notorious inner diva bitch this week on a couple of unsuspecting fans at the Chile stop of her MDNA tour who were smoking cigarettes in the audience during her soundcheck. The “Girl Gone Wild” went got “fired up like a smoking gun” when she notices the culprits lighting up and went on a pretty scathing rant and threatened to cancel her show after they continued to smoke when she asked them to stop!
I love the woman and I am totally on her side when it comes to being an anti-smoking advocate… Especially since I know how extremely damaging second-hand smoke can be to the vocal-cords first hand… But I also think if she feels this strongly about it, she should stop glamorizing the nasty habit by posing with lit cigarettes in fashion shoots and smoking them in her music video’s (“Girl Gone Wild” being her latest clip that she co-stars with a ciggy!)
That aside, these guys deserved the tongue lashing since her shows are “non-smoking” events and they made her ask them more than once! On the bring side, at least they weren’t smoking hydrangeas!

As an occasional smoker, I make it a point to smoke away from from other people because they have a right to breathe clean air. I’m working on quitting because I know how bad it is for me and others.
It just seems really out of place for people to be doing it during a soundcheck or during a concert in the venue like that. Perhaps social norms there are a little different.

Maybe she was talking to her daughter, she’s been caught smoking and having sex with the crew members.
