Move over Queen Elizabeth II, England officially has 2 Queens this week! Queen of Pop, Madonna, has made presence known in the country this week when she scored her 12th #1 album with her new effort, MDNA. This new career milestone also earns Madge the record in the UK for having the most #1 albums by a solo artist!! Once again, Madonna has defied all the odds the have been set against her in this very ageist industry and has proven that not only can she still can compete with the pop tarts and impersonators half her age, but she can still score #1 albums and break records while she’s at it. She’s also expected to debut at #1 with MDNA here in the United States next week… You know I’ll be letting you know when she does!
If you haven’t bought the album, go out and get it today! After having a full week with the LP, I have grown to really love it! Here’s one of my favorite tracks off of MDNA, “Turn Up The Radio“…

Really… Because my review was actually luke warm while everyone else gave it pretty good to great reviews… I have yet to read one that is completely horrible…. The album has grown on me a great deal since I wrote my review. A lot of the songs I only “liked” I actually “love” now. There are only 2 tracks I completely skip…

At first I only liked 4 tracks but after a few more listens it’s grown on me and now I can honestly say I like ALL but 1 song. I always skip “I Don’t Give A” for some reason I just can’t get into it… *cough*Nicki Minaj*cough*

If you want I could list 20 or 30 reviews that are negative

The album is great!
Positive reviews from all the main players.
The negative reviews that later came mostly focus on her age and not the music. That’s kinda sad.
MDNA is an easy listen.
