Looks like Madonna’s next full studio album might end up being a Hard Candy Part II. (Which I’m not complaining about.) Neptunes producer Pharrell Williams has confirmed that he will be working with the big ‘M‘ on her new album this new year. Pharrell produced a hand-full of songs for her previous album Hard Candy and was responsible for hits such as “Give It To Me” & “”. I’m wondering if she will tap Timbaland again since he also worked on the HC LP. If she’s heading in that direction once again… I hope M collaborates with Will.i.am as well. That could be a union made in music heaven if you ask me.

No more Timberland productions please! I’m a huge fan of hers, she needs to get back into exploring new sounds!

I would much rather a Confessions Part II then a Hard Candy part II.

ewwwwwwwwwwww jump smokers.. ugh LOL dont mention them zart!
I love Pharrell’s older work but lately he has been very quiet. His reign over the pop/hiphop industry faded out a while ago but if he is willing to try new sounds with Madonna I say go for it. I agree though I would love a Confessions pt 2 for sure! Loved that album.

Agree Confessions Part 2 NOT Hard Candy Part 2:(

Just shoot me if will.i.am works with Madonna. will.i.am calls himself an artist but really he is just CRAP! Honestly if it weren’t for these 80s and 90s artist making great music, will.i.am wouldn’t have a career! He’d probably just be one of those one hit wonders. Instead, he rips off or “samples” (which aggravates me when artist use that lame excuse) off of all these other artist, then the idiot generation of today think he SO ORIGINAL! Whatever, if Madonna wants to jump on that band wagon, that’s her loss. I want Bedtime Stories Album Pt. II. That was true treasure. But COAD Pt. II wouldn’t be bad.

id like to forget hard candy every happened. give it to me and miles away were the only songs on that album that were decent. madonna needs another club banger album…she needs to work with some british producers and bring something new to the US.

I hardly think British producers are at the forefront of production any more. Hard Candy isn’t a bad album. Confessions was a fraud – it was touted as a “dance tour de force”…erm its preachy, hardly euphoric and club friendly outside of Get Together and Hung Up. Just because there is a 4/4 beat and tampered vocals doesn’t mean that something is a dance track. Hard Candy was the dance album that Confessions never was.
If anything, Madonna should work with Swedish House Mafia or someone more current…but that’s it I suppose – will SHM still be current by the time the album drops? I think she should definitely go back to working with Mirwais, Orbit, Price (as tour director only) and even Patrick Leonard.

No. No. NO! This is not a good idea….if M works with will.i.am or any other hip hop crap producers and artists again I am gonna be so disappointed.

Please NO Pharells, will.i.ams, BlackEyedPeas, Timbalands, Guettas and other mainstream shit for Madonna. She needs to work with unknown, real talented people who will produce a new sound for and with her. I really cannot hear all the GaGas & Rihannas anymore. Everything sounds the same these days and Madonna needs to break this wall and make something really different as she used to do in the 80s, 90s & early 2000s…

To each his own. I thought Confessions blew Hard Candy out of the water. It hand some amazing songs on it. Get Together, Jump, Sorry and others. It sure sold better.I still get request from Confessions, but not Hard Candy. Don’t get me wrong I liked the album. I just don’t think we need to hear that sound from here again.
If Pharell can do something with her that doesn’t sound like a marching band I will give it a listen.
I’m pretty sure we will get something from her and Guetta. They both have stated that they were working together. I know Boom never saw the light of day(Thanks to Warner Bro.). But he was just nominated for a Grammy for mixing her track.
And seriously no Will.i.am.

argonaut i totally disagree with everything u said. to say hard candy was the dance album confessions never was…well fuck if confessions wasnt EUPHORIC dance then i dont know what is. and SHM bore me. id prefer a guetta colab any day over a SHM colab. at least then wed know it would make it to the clubs. i just want to daaaaaaance….madonna make it happen!!!
