New Music: Kat Graham – Cold Hearted Snake (Paula Abdul Cover… Kinda)

Actress Kat Graham from the hit television series Vampire Dairies is taking a stab at a music career with a new track called “Cold Hearted Snake“. While it’s not exactly a proper cover of the Paula Abdul song, it barrows heavily from Paula’s classic hit and keeps the chorus intact! I’ve been waiting for a good update of this song and I think Kat did a great job breathing new life into it. Still, I would love to hear someone do a good cover of the (entire) song someday.

    I teared up when her Vampire Diaries character found her Salem witch descendant grandmother dead on the season finale, while Leona Lewis sang Snow Patrol’s “Run” in the background. I’m such a 14 year old girl! (On a side-note, how is Jasmine Guy old enough to play a grandmother?!)
