Rumor has it that American Idol wants Paula Abdul back on their show and are currently in talks with the former pop star to return to as a judge on the music competition. Paula left right before this season started after her and the producers couldn’t agree on her salary during contract negotiations. I’m actually hoping that Paula ends up on the US adaptation of X Factor with Simon Cowell but apparently the producers of Idol are doing their best to prevent that from happening by wooing the wacky star back to their show. Supposedly, getting Paula back is a top priority for the show’s producers since they expect to lose a lot of viewers when veteran judge, Simon, leaves at the end of this season. Which show would you rather see Paula on? Fresh start with X Factor or a triumphant return to Idol?
