Join us for happy hour in the weeks leading up to Dining Out For Life and tell the universe that you support this important cause!

On Thursdays leading up to the April 25 day of dining and drinking to raise funds for HIV/AIDS services, we are asking you to stop by one of our Mo’s Universe locations and take a “stand.” Pink flamingos have become synonymous with Mo’s Universe, so we want to take your picture doing your best one-legged flamingo stance.

Wear red and stop by the following Mo’s Universe locations to take your picture with Glitz Glam and our Ambassador Team, while enjoying great happy hour specials:

Thursday, March 28: Hillcrest Brewing Company. Stop by HBC from 4-6 pm for “Hoppy Hour!” Enjoy $2 off beers, wines, flights and growlers with $2 pizza slices while taking a “stand.”

Thursday, April 4: Gossip Grill. Join us from 2-7 pm for “Gossip Hour!” Enjoy our famous “Buy One, Get a Token” while taking a “stand.”

Thursday, April 11: Urban Mo’s. Join us at 7:30 pm for Mo’s 21st Anniversary Celebration! Come dressed in over the top fabulousness! We will be snapping your fierce flamingo "stand" on our step and repeat!

Thursday, April 18: Baja Betty’s. Join us from 2-6 pm for “Papi Hour!” Enjoy $4 casa margaritas, well drinks, bottle/draught beers, sangria, house wine and house shots while taking a “stand.”

During each happy hour event, photos will be uploaded to Mo’s Universe’s social media which you will be able share and tell your friends that you are taking a “stand” in the fight against HIV/AIDS! Remember, until there is a cure … we keep standing!

And don’t forget to “dine out” on Thursday, April 25. All four Mo’s Universe locations will be participating!

Women from all over the world will descend upon the famed California desert known as Palm Springs this April 3-7th, to attend Club Skirts Dinah Shore Weekend. With different expectations, schedules, and friends, they all have one immutable element that continues to link them all together: the music. With incredible talent, awesome bands, and groundbreaking artists ranging from pop to dance, and indie music to electronica, the original Dinah Shore Weekend – now in its milestone 23rd year promises to be one of the biggest it’s ever held.

Headlining this years Dinah Shore Weekend is Karin, the pop sensation duo & Rolling Stone Magazine’s “Woman who Rock” Winner, known for their infectious summer hit “Broken Hearted”. Other talent includes: Havana Brown, Diana King, Kat Graham, and UhHuh Her as the grand finale. Anjulie, K. Rose, and Katy Titz, Fortune Feimster, Jackie Loeb, Suzanne Westenhoefer and TV reality stars Lauren Bedford Russel and Kiyomi McCloskey of "The Real L Word" will also appear throughout the weekend's events. “Battle Of The Lesbian Web Series” is also returning to The Dinah.

The Dinah, is also introducing two inaugural events "Celebrity Poker Tournament” to benefit the Human Rights Campaign. The Dinah, in association with actress, Jill Bennett, will also hold the world premiere event of the new independent sitcom, "Second Shot" written by Nancylee Myatt, Dara Nai, and Claudia Cogan.

Please Note: State law requires us to verify that everyone with you is 21 in order to sell you beer that leaves the brewery. Everyone who comes in to pick up a growler must have their ID (current driver’s license or military ID). Failure to provide identification will result in us not being able to sell you our product. We also cannot fill a growler that doesn’t bear the Hillcrest Brewing Company name and address. As such growlers imprinted with another brewery’s name, blank growlers, or those that have had labels placed over the original printed name cannot be filled. And please rinse out your growler AND the cap before bringing to HBC for filling. Use very hot water and repeat the rinse several times.

At HBC we love beer and love people who love our beer too! We are very fond of our license that allows us to sell you beer, and we intend to keep it!
